What You'll Be Doing:
Your important work will help make sure that the legal documents we create for our estate planning clients actually work when tested in the real world by aligning financial assets with legal documents for practical use and ensuring the firm's profitability with timely, accurate billing and collections (so we can all get paid for the great work we do!).

--- Gathering and organizing information from clients and their financial advisors and accountants in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and on paper
--- Regularly communicating over the phone, via email, in online meetings, and in person with clients and their other professional advisors to communicate advice and answer their routine questions
--- Searching the Corporate Database and checking for Annual Reports
--- Reviewing (often lengthy and complex) Partnership Agreements like you're looking for Waldo wearing buzzwords on his shirt stripes to flag to the Attorney's attention
--- Searching both sides of the Registries of Deeds and carefully drafting Deeds and related real estate legal documents to transfer title to real property as part of clients' estate plans
--- Preparing client engagement agreements, sending invoices to and assisting clients with their billing questions, following up on Accounts Receivable, tracking and carefully recording payments correctly

You will never be bored! Although there is a lot of precision review and analysis that goes into the data entry and document creation that requires sustained focus, it's also a very people-oriented position and a service business. Our workdays are punctuated with client messages, calls, office visits, scheduled meetings, and scheduling changes, so it's never exactly the same day twice.
