- Be responsible for reviewing and understanding all aspects of
construction documents for Corporate Interiors, Lab/Life Science,
and/or Restaurant/Retail markets
- Act as a liaison between client and subcontractors to ensure
accurate estimates and budgets are provided
- Perform takeoffs and develop conceptual budgets utilizing past
data
- Develop, communicate, and understand the company's pricing
strategy
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential/ current
clients and subcontractors
- Utilize Construction scheduling software to detail milestones
in the pre-construction schedule
- Obtain the best pricing for materials and bids from
subcontracts
- Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors,
subcontracts, etc
- Maintain the Estimating Coordinator to publish RFPs to
subcontractor
- Serve as a mentor to Estimating Coordinator(s)Profile
- Experience in construction estimating in corporate interiors
and restaurant/retail
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Construction
Management, Engineering, or related fields
- Self motivated, able to work independently as well as alongside
a team
- Ability to strategize and manage the client's exposure to
Boston markets
- Able to be successful in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under tight time lines to hit project
deadlines
- Hold MA-CSL, OSHA Certifications
