Again, they provide 100% medical coverage (including vision and dental) for their employees - no copay, no deduction from your paycheck, etc. The Civil Estimator will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase by providing accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects including materials, labor, and equipment. Analyze bids and perform bid comparisons to support the selection of subcontractors and suppliers. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that estimates reflect project scope and requirements. Utilize software tools such as HCSS Heavybid and Primavera for scheduling and cost estimation. Conduct on-site evaluations and assessments to gather relevant data for accurate estimating. Communicate with stakeholders to clarify project specifications and requirements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the estimating process. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of experience in estimating within the civil construction industry.
