Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized support within school settings. This role involves delivering therapeutic services designed to help students overcome physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges that impact their educational experience. The position is based in Chicopee, MA, and requires travel to various school sites in the area. Key Responsibilities: Assess students' physical and cognitive abilities to develop individualized therapy plans. Implement interventions to improve motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment. Document progress and adjust therapy strategies based on student development. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development. Preferred Qualifications: Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working in educational settings supporting school-aged children. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with school personnel and families. Willingness and ability to travel between multiple school locations. Location:This position requires commuting within the Chicopee, MA area, with travel between school sites as part of daily responsibilities.
