seeking a Sr Principal EMI/EMC Electrical Engineer to work in our
Nashua, NH location. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and
resourcefulness. Applies and/or develops highly advanced concepts,
techniques, and standards. Viewed as an expert in the field outside
of the corporation.
- Defines and implements EMI/EMC requirements to meet specified
product performance for all aspects of Electromagnetic
Environmental Effects (E3) compliance, including but not limited to
EMI/EMC/EME/ESD/EMP and Lightning.
- Reviews, prepares, and modifies EMI control plans, procedures,
reports, and seeks opportunities for improved efficiencies.
- Participates in Design Reviews, trade-off analysis, and
provides all EMI/EMC design control for major programs.
- Directs major test programs across BAE Systems and external
vendor sites, with knowledge of test equipment automation software
such as TILE, EMC32, etc.
- Mentors and develops junior and mid-level EMI/EMC

Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Electrical Engineering,
Physics, Mathematics, or related)
- Thorough knowledge of MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464
- Experience in EMI/EMC analysis, modeling, product qualification
tests, and compliance
- Familiarity with virtual meeting tools such as Webex, Zoom,
Skype, Microsoft Teams
- Excellent technical written and verbal communication
skills
- Experience presenting technical information to teams and
customers
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearancePreferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Master's degree in a STEM field
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC test equipment and control
software
- Knowledge of RTCA DO-160, Section 22, Lightning Effects
- Experience with Matlab, MathCAD, PSPICE, LTSPICE, Feko, ANSYS
HFSS, and other simulation tools
- Experience reading and interpreting circuit schematics, PCB
layouts, engineering drawings, BOMs, and CAD software
- Experience with lightning mitigation in systems
- Possession of iNarte EMC Engineer Certification
- Possession of Secret or Top Secret DoD security clearancePay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $130,355 - $221,603Note:
Salaries are determined by various factors including skills,
education, experience, market conditions, and internal
