Job Title: Assembler C Job Code: 32761 Job Location: Londonderry, NH Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week Job Description: L3Harris is looking for an Assembler to join our team. This person will contribute to the company's success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products. The incumbent will work fro instuctions and use hand and/or power tool, and will also make continuity checks on work in process and completed. Essential Functions: /n - Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions /n - Assemble mechanical, optical, or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirements /n - Continuously perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assembly /n - Report deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and conducts quality inspection at specified intervals /n - Perform accurate data and record keeping /n - Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures /n - Apply basic math skills to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance /n - Work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives /n - Performs job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures /n - Complete basic testing operations by loading units, starting test programs, and evaluating basic pass/fail criteria /n - Participate in meetings and working groups to solve problems, communicate issues, obtain approvals, and maintains specific level of knowledge pertaining to new requirements or policies /n /n Qualifications: - Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior assembly experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 2 years of prior assembly experience /n Preferred Qualifications • Demonstrated proficiency at operating 25%-50% of workstations as documented by training record • Entry-level soldering with certification, if applicable • If applicable, IPC J-STD-001 Solder certification required with entry-level soldering L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
