Job Description:
Heavy Equipment Field Technician - Western NY and Eastern
Massachusetts Our client, (a premier Trimble Heavy Civil products
dealer), is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Eastern
Massachusetts or Western New York Territory. This is a great role
for anyone interested in technology and heavy equipment. Join an
industry experiencing 20% growth year over year. Salary : $30 -
$33/hour A Day in the Life: Troubleshoot electrical, software, and
hardware faults within a machine system on job sites. Order parts
and complete service reports. Install GPS components and wiring on
a variety of heavy equipment. Provide outstanding customer service
by working with the sales and survey teams. Use Trimble survey gear
to precisely measure and calibrate machines. Assist other
technicians. Operate heavy equipment to troubleshoot and calibrate.
You are paid from the moment you leave your house in a company
vehicle until the time when you get home with your company vehicle.
Experience and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
equivalent. Two-year degree in diesel technologies or equivalent
experience. 3-4 years of heavy equipment mechanical experience
(excluding auto or truck). Valid driver's license with a clean
record and ability to operate a company vehicle. Proficiency in
using computers, cell phones, and other technology. Strong verbal
and written communication skills. Experience with various heavy
equipment such as dozers, graders, loaders, excavators, and grading
equipment. Knowledge of CAT, John Deere, Volvo, Bobcat, and Doosan
equipment is helpful. Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and
equipment software systems. Willingness to work after-hours as
needed. Positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to work in a
fast-paced environment. Benefits Include: Health and dental
