As a Pro Shop Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing merchandise planning and buying, and inventory management for Boston Pro Shop retail.   • Manage product selection and development from inception to delivery, recommending purchases and inventory levels based on consumer and market trends, sales strategies, and financial goals
  • Utilize reporting tools to review inventory, sales, and item status in assigned merchandise categories, and create purchase orders to control inventory investment while supporting sales objectives
  • Recommend pricing, sales strategies, and assortments, including liquidation strategies as needed
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders on merchandise plans and their execution to sales plans
  • Partner with marketing and brand teams to identify opportunities for unique product collaborations and develop promotional activities for key product collections to ensure sales throughMore about you
    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • Minimum of 3 years of retail buying experience in a high-volume environment; retail experience with a professional sports team preferred
    • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
    • Strong knowledge of retail point of sale systems, Netsuite, Retail Cloud, and RFID technology
    • Demonstrated knowledge of retail buying, merchandising techniques and retail operations, policies, and procedures in addition to having strong knowledge of the industry and a keen eye for trends
