Job title-RN-OncologyLocation-Burlington, MA 01805Duration-13 weeksShift-Days 12hrs (7a-7p )Weekly hours - 36Job description-Education: ASN Experience: Med/Surg, Tele experience required; 3-5 years of RELEVANT experience inpatient experience (2 yrs must be MS/Tele in Trauma Level 1 Facility) AND previous travel experience preferred; Will float as needed. Requirements: BLS License: Current MA RN License; ONS chemotherapy biotherapy administration card required. Tele test will be administered on first day and it will be pass/fail. Fail could result in assignment termination.*Duties** Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans based on their specific needs.* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including discharge planning.* Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with standards and regulations.* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options, side effects, and coping strategies.* Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Athenahealth for documentation and patient management.* Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care throughout the treatment process.* Engage in behavioral health assessments as needed to support the overall well-being of oncology patients.*Qualifications** Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.* Experience in oncology nursing preferred; familiarity with CT procedures and sonography is a plus.* Proficient in medical documentation practices and standards relevant to oncology care.* Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) is desirable but not required.Job Type: ContractPay: $2,900.00 - $2,930.00 per weekMedical Specialty:* Hematology* Medical-Surgical* Oncology* SurgeryPhysical Setting:* Inpatient* OutpatientWork Location: In personby Jobble
