Central Vermont Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be integral in providing advanced imaging services that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and analyze the results Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in handling radioactive materials Maintain imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results Provide education and support to patients regarding nuclear medicine procedures Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment Strong analytical skills for interpreting medical images Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to handle radiopharmaceuticals safely Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or eligible Registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
