Job Description Job Description Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: Newport, VT Assignment Duration: 17 Weeks (Extension Possible) Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Schedule: Monday – Wednesday Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 Hours per Week Pay Rate: $48 – $52 per Hour Job Description We are seeking an experienced Travel LPN to support a long-term care/skilled nursing environment. The LPN will provide direct resident care, supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards. Key Responsibilities Direct and supervise day-to-day activities of nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies Plan and coordinate shift services, programs, and activities with nursing and support staff Complete and maintain accurate documentation for admissions, transfers, and discharges Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders Prepare and administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper resident identification Perform nursing procedures including catheterization, tube feedings, suctioning, dressing changes, and wound care Monitor resident conditions and document care provided and resident responses Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure Collect specimens (urine, blood, sputum) and perform routine lab testing as required Participate in resident and family orientation and education Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and supervisors regarding resident care Ensure adequate supply of medications, equipment, and floor stock items Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to residents’ rights Participate in facility surveys and inspections as requested Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Active LPN License BLS Certification Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
