is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level III NICU position
requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and Epic
proficiency, with rotating day/night shifts and every-weekend
scheduling. Details - Level III NICU unit (M7/McLure 7) in a large
academic teaching hospital setting - 12-hour rotating day/night
shifts, primarily nights with days as needed - Every weekend is
required; travelers may be scheduled more than every other weekend
- No on-call responsibilities - Floating required to newborn NICU,
mother/baby, newborn rounds, nursery, delivery attendance,
Pedi/PICU with neonate feeder/grower, or approximate neonate age
assignments - Epic EMR experience required; must be from within the
past 2 years - No block schedules permitted - 16-week assignment
Requirements - Active RN license — VT or Compact license accepted;
candidates without VT licensure will be considered, and NY
candidates will be reviewed with proof of pending NY license -
Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE and RNC-NIC
preferred - Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required, with Level
III NICU experience specifically required - Teaching facility
experience required - Prior travel nursing experience preferred;
candidates without travel experience must have experience at a
large academic teaching NICU (500 bed facility) - Epic EMR
experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable -
At least two references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor —
one from within the past 6 months, and one from within the past
year of employment - SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information - Bi-weekly orientations begin on Mondays -
Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal
or rental vehicle is strongly recommended - Vehicles should be
equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
