Job Description:
PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital care, is
seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist
Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in
supporting our mission to deliver personalized and intensive
rehabilitation treatments to help patients regain independence
after experiencing surgery, injury, or illness. As an Occupational
Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of our
Occupational Therapists to implement therapeutic plans and assist
patients through their recovery process. This position requires a
commitment to patient care and the ability to adapt to various
patient needs. Assist Occupational Therapists in the implementation
of rehabilitation treatments. Document patient progress and adjust
treatments as needed to achieve maximum recovery. Educate patients
and their families on daily living skills and home programs.
Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment. Implement patient
care plans effectively under supervision. Participate in
multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and discuss
patient progress. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in documenting and reporting Ability to handle physical
demands of patient assistance and transport Knowledge of
therapeutic techniques and practices Adaptability to various
patient needs and conditions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
licensure in the state of practice
