Job Description:
Operations Supervisor, PW, WPCF (Full Time)
Location: Groton
Skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with an
Associate's in Engineering or related field, and a minimum of ten
years' experience, six of which must be in wastewater facility
operations, including two years of supervisory experience or a
Bachelor's in Engineering and eight years overall experience,
inclusive of the wastewater and supervisory experience. A
combination of education and experience which demonstrates the
ability to perform the responsibilities of this position may be
considered in lieu of stated education and experience requirements.
Must be certified to operate a Class IV Wastewater Treatment
Facility in Connecticut. In lieu of this, must have a Class III
license with demonstrated course work (educational and/or
experience) towards a Class IV licensure. Must possess and maintain
a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License. Salary range
$73,402-$84,413. Applications must be returned on or before April
9, 2021.
