is seeking a candidate to actively participate in hands-on
preclinical drug discovery research. This role offers a valuable
opportunity for a committed professional to become part of an
innovative team and contribute meaningfully to the discovery and
development of novel immunotherapeutic approaches. The candidate
should possess strong in vivo skills, be able to multitask, and
work well within a team. Motivation, organization, and flexibility
are essential. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design and evaluate novel immunomodulatory strategies, including
genetic medicines and cell-based platforms, translating mechanistic
insights into testable hypotheses and advancing promising concepts
toward preclinical and clinical development. Independently design,
develop, and execute in vivo and in vitro experimental protocols;
generate robust and consistent data of high quality, generate clear
scientific documentation Strong organizational skills to manage
multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high scientific
rigor, data integrity, and reproducibility to inform strategic
decision making Present results in a clear and effective manner in
team meetings, departmental forums, and governance presentations.
Supervise, train, and mentor research associates, as appropriate
Demonstrated capacity to work independently as well as collaborate
effectively within a team and across different functions Basic
Qualifications: MS with 6 years of relevant experience, or BS with
8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/ biotech R&D.
Prior industry experience is strongly preferred; optional: Ph.D.
with training in immunology, cell biology, or related discipline

E-3, H-1B1, or L-1 Additional Skills and preferences: Extensive
experience designing, executing, and documenting in vivo studies,
including preparation and management of IACUC protocols.
Demonstrated expertise in humanized immune system mouse models,
with strong proficiency for in vivo techniques, including: Handling
of mice (rats is a plus) Expertise in multiple dosing routes (IV,
IP, SC, PO, etc.) Proficiency in blood collection methods (tail
vein, submandibular, cardiac puncture) Experience with tissue
collection and necropsy Strong data analysis utilizing flow
cytometry Strong hands-on expertise and deep knowledge in
performing human primary immune cell culture, ex vivo mouse model
sample processing and analysis, complex cell-based assay
development and screening technologies (including multicolor flow
cytometry, RNA-seq, library preparation for sc RNA -seq, MSD,
ELISA, etc) Detail-oriented, effective communicator and strong
organizational skills with the ability to manage competing
priorities and timelines Qualified applicants must be authorized to

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $138,000 -
$224,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
