team at Eli Lilly! We are responsible for inventing,
characterizing, and advancing novel gene therapies for a myriad of
clinical applications. Our team works cross-functionally within our
organization across multiple disease areas and platforms. Our goal
is to deliver on the promise of genetic medicine to patients around
the world. This role may require up to 10% travel for conferences
or training. Job Responsibilities Work with team members to drive
forward new gene therapy programs Develop and maintain humanized
mouse colonies for use to measure gene therapy outcomes in vivo.
Help establish multiple mouse models to support preclinical
experiments Work cross functionally with careful coordination with
collaborators to deliver data to the project team within expected
timelines. Maintain detailed documentation of scientific work in an
electronic notebook. Weekend work may be required at times Basic
Requirements: B.S. and/or M.S. in biology or a closely related
field with 2 years of relevant laboratory experience Qualified
applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a
full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work

F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or
L-1. Additional Skills/Preferences: Mastery of aseptic cell culture
experience on HSCs and in vivo experience producing and maintaining
mouse models. Experience phenotyping all types of immune cells
(HSCs, T cells, B cells, etc); specifically, flow cytometry assay
and panel development Handling of controlled substances may be
required; must be able to pass background check Experience
planning, effectively coordinating, and executing experiments
independently Experience in molecular endpoints, including, PCR,
qPCR, ddPCR, and protein analysis (Simple Western Jess, ELISA, MSD)
Familiarity with LNP screening Experience using automation in
workflows is a plus (i.e., liquid handling) Excellent
problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $71,250 -
$187,000 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
